SANETER does not accept results from arbitrary third-party IP checking platforms as a basis for refunds.
Different IP databases use different data sources, update cycles, and classification methods. As a result, the same IP address may receive different classifications across different platforms. To keep our product verification standard consistent, SANETER uses IP2Location as the reference database for IP classification.
For products sold as ISP proxies, the relevant field is:
Usage Type: ISP
Please do not confuse Usage Type with AS Usage Type.
Usage Type represents the classification of the IP range itself, while AS Usage Type represents the classification of the Autonomous System (AS) registrant. Because these fields describe different things, an ISP proxy may show:
Usage Type: ISP
while AS Usage Type may display DCH or another classification.
For SANETER ISP products, IP2Location Usage Type is the classification standard we use to determine whether an IP meets our ISP requirement. AS Usage Type is not used for this purpose.
If the ISP proxy you receive does not show Usage Type: ISP in IP2Location, please contact our support team. We will provide one replacement IP at no additional charge.
If the replacement IP we provide also fails to show Usage Type: ISP in IP2Location, you may choose to request a refund for the affected proxy.
This replacement-and-refund policy applies specifically to the IP2Location Usage Type classification. Results from other third-party IP databases or checking platforms are not considered a valid basis for replacement or refund.
If you do not agree with IP2Location being used as the reference standard for ISP classification, we recommend that you do not place an order.
